Dye Or Stained Concrete

Vibrant Depths

Dye or Stained Concrete is a decorative finishing technique that adds lasting color to concrete using solvent- or water-based stains and dyes. It creates translucent, variegated tones by reacting with the concrete matrix or coloring the surface pigments, resulting in rich, layered, often marbled effects.

How It Works

The Process

Step Icon

Prep Concrete

Surfaces are prepared by cleaning, degreasing, and profiling; existing coatings and contaminants are removed and cracks/joints are repaired.

Step Icon

Color

Water-based dyes are applied directly to the surface and can be layered for custom effects. Stains chemically react with prepared concrete to produce permanent color.

Step Icon

Finish/Topcoat

Finish protection is provided by a compatible sealer or topical guard (penetrating or film‑forming) chosen for desired sheen and chemical resistance.
